Behind the Camera: Stories That Move
Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege to contribute as a cameraman to a series of powerful documentary films exploring identity, resilience, and the inner journeys of women around the world. These films are part of the international project “Women and Roads. Way to Yourself” — a cinematic reflection on how the landscapes we cross can mirror the transformations within us.
Mallorca. Women and Roads. The way to Yourself

A poetic and meditative story of women who come to Mallorca in search of healing, self-expression, and rediscovery. Through intimate interviews and quiet landscapes, the film invites the viewer to reflect on life’s turning points and the roads that lead us back to ourselves.
The film was screened at numerous international film festivals around the globe and has a long list of awards.

Azerbaijan. Women and Roads. The way to Yourself.
Set against the dramatic beauty of Azerbaijan, this chapter follows women navigating tradition, freedom, and inner conflict in a rapidly changing world. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and continues its journey through the international circuit.
World Premiere: Cannes, 2025
For me, filming in Azerbaijan was a deep visual exploration of contrasts — cultural, emotional, and environmental.
United Arab Emirates. Women and Roads
Currently in post-production, this film captures the stories of life choices of several women living in all 7 Emirates — a land of reinvention and quiet strength. Through desert landscapes and futuristic skylines, the film seeks the hidden places where silence meets transformation.
We’re still editing, but I can’t wait to share what we’ve captured from behind the lens.
